Description
IOPIDINE 0.5% Eye Drops are a prescription-only ophthalmic treatment containing apraclonidine hydrochloride, used to temporarily reduce raised pressure within the eye. In aesthetic practice, they are commonly utilised off-label to manage eyelid ptosis (drooping) following botulinum toxin treatments by stimulating Müller’s muscle to gently elevate the upper eyelid.
The drops work quickly, with effects often noticeable within minutes, making them a useful short-term corrective option in suitable patients following aesthetic procedures. IOPIDINE is intended for short-term use only and should be supplied following appropriate clinical assessment.
